Youth Leadership Programs

At Children without Borders, we believe that today’s young people are tomorrow’s leaders. When children and youth are equipped with confidence, vision, and opportunity, they become powerful agents of change in their communities. Our Youth Leadership Programs are designed to empower young leaders in the neighborhoods and districts where we work across Nicaragua and Costa Rica, helping them build the skills, resilience, and character needed to shape a better future.

What Youth Leadership Means to Us

Young people are creative, passionate, and deeply connected to their communities. With the right support, they can:

Our programs help youth become confident, compassionate, and effective leaders.

We help young leaders become informed, confident participants in society by teaching: Rights and responsibilities as community members Conflict resolution and peaceful dialogue Advocacy and civic engagement Our aim is to nurture informed youths who care about the well-being of their communities.

03

Mentorship & Support Networks

Guidance matters. Youth participants gain: Mentorship from local volunteers and professionals Support in planning goals and next steps Connections with peers who share their passion and purpose These support networks strengthen resilience and sustain long-term growth.
