At Children without Borders, we believe that every child and family deserves access to quality healthcare — regardless of where they live or their financial situation. Health is the foundation of a thriving life. Without it, children can’t learn, families can’t grow, and entire communities struggle to break cycles of hardship.
Our Healthcare Access Programs are designed to support the well‑being of children, mothers, and families in the neighborhoods and rural districts where we work across Nicaragua and Costa Rica.
In many of the communities we serve, healthcare services are limited, expensive, or difficult to reach. We partner with local clinics, health workers, and community leaders to expand access to essential medical care, preventive services, and health education.
Our focus is on bringing care closer to families, strengthening local health systems, and ensuring long‑term wellness for children and their caregivers.

Volunteering involves two processes. If you are a foreign national from a country where we operate, please contact us by email at info@childrenwb.org for more information. If you reside in the country where we work directly, the process is simpler, as these volunteers are familiar with the local situation and our volunteer procedures.
